Whenever I move off the screen, my phone says it's checking for an internet connection. Is there any way to make it stop?
You'll likely need to change your network access or network permission settings, depending on your phone. To do so, please follow these steps: Access your mobile phone's list of downloads and/or applications and highlight Google Maps. Select Settings, Options, or the like with Google Maps still highlighted. Select Network access or Network permissions, depending on your phone. Change Ask every time to Ask first time for Network access, or Allow once to Always allow for Network permissions. Save your changes. Please see your owner's manual for more information.
